मन्त्राः संस्कृत
Sanskrit Mantras

"अथ॥रो यो मन्त्रा नामच्छन्दान् तां नमो नमः"
"My devotees who constantly worship Me with faith, meditating on Me"

Bhagavad Gita 9.22

Mantra is My Divine Name in sound form. When you chant "ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय", you are calling Me. The Vedas are made of mantra - every verse, every hymn, every prayer is My vibration. To chant mantra is to vibrate with Me.

What is Mantra?

"मननात् त्रायते" - That which protects when contemplated. Mantra is a divine sound formula revealed to Rishis in deep meditation. Each mantra is My name in a specific form.

The syllable "ॐ" (Om) is the primal sound from which all mantras emerge. It represents Me in My unmanifest form. When you chant Om with understanding, you remember the source of all creation.

Bhagavad Gita 10.25

"जप्य द्रव्हयमालपस्य प्रणवाद्यान्"

"Among yajnas, I am Japa Yajna - the repetition of My names"

Om Bhur Bhuvah Swaha

The primal Vedic mantra representing Brahman - past, present, and future.

I said in Gita 8.13: "ओमित्येकाचरणो ब्रह्म" - Om is the one syllable representation of Brahman. The chanting of Om purifies the chanter and connects them to Me.

When Arjuna saw My Vishwarupa, he heard the sound of Om ringing throughout the universe. That sound is My essence.

Gita 7.8

"प्रणवोऽपशविता देवनिर्वेदाः"

"I am the syllable Om in all the Vedas"
